Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of wayside.app, your Wayside account, and the text messages Wayside sends. If your venue has a signed agreement with Wayside, that agreement governs your venue's use of the service, and it wins wherever it differs from these terms.

Your Wayside account

Venues invite their owners and staff to Wayside. Your venue decides who has access and what each person can do, and it can remove your access at any time. Keep your sign-in email secure and never share a sign-in code with anyone. Tell us right away at hello@wayside.app if you think someone else has used your account.

Using Wayside well

Please don't:

• use Wayside to break the law or to message people who haven't agreed to hear from you;
• try to reach information your venue hasn't given you access to;
• interfere with Wayside, probe it for weaknesses, or scrape it.

We may suspend access that puts other people, venues, or the service at risk.

Text messaging

Program: Wayside account alerts. If you add a mobile number on your Wayside account page and opt in, Wayside texts you sign-in codes you request and alerts about your venue account, such as a new event inquiry or an integration that needs attention.

• Texts are optional. Opting in is never required to use Wayside.
• Message frequency varies with your account activity.
• Message and data rates may apply. Those are between you and your carrier.
• Reply STOP to cancel at any time. We'll confirm, and then stop texting you. You can also turn texts off on your Wayside account page.
• Reply HELP for help, or email hello@wayside.app.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number. Venues that text their own patrons through Wayside do so under their own name and their own terms.

What's ours

Wayside, this website, and their content belong to us. Your venue's information belongs to your venue.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Wayside and this site available and accurate, but we provide them as they are, without warranties, except where your venue's agreement says otherwise. To the extent the law allows, Wayside isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site.

Changes

We'll update this page if these terms change, and change the effective date at the top.
